Yes. We build custom wooden crates for art, antiques, mirrors, and other fragile or high-value pieces. Each crate is built to fit its item and protects it in transit and in storage.
Yes. Our climate-controlled warehouse keeps a collection out of the heat of a garage or a self-storage unit. If your wine needs a specific temperature or humidity range, tell us at intake and we'll tell you whether our warehouse fits. For a valuable collection, keep in mind that warehouse storage liability is separate from moving valuation, and ask your insurer about a separate policy on the wine.
Pianos go into climate-controlled storage in our warehouse, and we recommend a tuning by a qualified piano technician after storage (we can refer you). Vintage and acoustic instruments (guitars, violins, brass) stay in their cases in our climate-controlled warehouse.
Unless your items are in storage-in-transit as part of a move, they fall under warehouse storage liability, which is legally separate from the valuation that covers goods while they're being moved. For high-value specialty items like art, wine, instruments, and antiques, ask your insurer about a separate policy on those items, often called an inland marine policy. We'll go through the warehouse terms with you at booking.
Yes. Common for specialty storage. Collectors and homeowners often want to access specific bottles, pieces of art, or seasonal items. We pull on request with a few days' notice. There's a small handling fee for partial retrieval that doesn't trigger a full delivery.
Specialty items go into the same 8×10 climate-controlled vaults as household storage, billed per vault per month with no minimum. Custom crating and any specialist handling are quoted separately against the specific items. Call (408) 941-0600 or tell us what you're storing and we'll quote it.
