How do you schedule a department move around the academic calendar?
We plan it backward from the first day of the next term. Labs, faculty offices, lecture halls, and shared spaces each get their own phase, and we start planning well before the break so every phase has a slot on the calendar.
How do you handle sensitive lab instruments?
High-value research instruments get custom crating and air-ride transport with vibration monitoring. We coordinate with the equipment manufacturer on disconnection and reconnection, and we carry specialty cargo insurance for scientific instruments.
How do you keep a library collection in shelf order?
We use a sequential numbering system paired with specially designed book carts that keep volumes in exact shelf order during transit.
Can you work within our school district's procurement and bidding requirements?
Yes. We respond to RFPs and work within public-sector procurement rules. We provide a W-9, a certificate of insurance, and a detailed line-item bid, and we accept purchase orders.
What about moving dormitory furniture for summer renovations?
We move residence hall furniture: bed frames, mattresses, desks, dressers, and common-area pieces. We can hold it in our climate-controlled San Jose warehouse and bring it back when the renovation is done.
