How is this priced?

What's the minimum commitment?
Programs start from 10 pallet positions. Contract length is negotiable, and shorter project-based arrangements are available too.
Do you offer inventory tracking and a WMS?
Yes. We run a warehouse management system with barcode and SKU tracking, and your team gets an online inventory portal. We can connect to your systems through EDI or API integrations. Intake is documented with inventory lists, photographs of received goods, and condition notes.
Can you receive palletized inbound shipments?
Yes. Our warehouse has multiple loading docks that take 53-foot trailers. We receive palletized inbound, inspect it against the bill of lading, and slot it into your storage and distribution flow.
How do scheduled customer deliveries work?
You provide the delivery list (customer details, delivery windows, special instructions). We schedule routes, dispatch furniture-trained crews, and execute white-glove delivery, including inside placement and removal of packing materials per your service level. Orders in by noon deliver same day within Santa Clara County; anywhere within 150 miles, delivery takes two business days. We send delivery confirmations and any signed receipts back to you for your records.
What's the difference between SVM and a national 3PL like Ryder?

Do you handle returns processing?
Yes, and it's common for furniture e-commerce. Customer returns come back to our warehouse, where we inspect them, photograph any damage, document it for the manufacturer or retailer, and route them back into inventory, to refurbishment, or to disposition per your policy.
How is inventory in storage covered?
Standard warehouse storage liability applies; for partners with high-value inventory, we recommend either negotiating extended valuation or carrying your own inland marine policy on the goods. SVM is licensed, insured, and bonded, carries workers' comp and general liability, and issues a certificate of insurance on request. We'll walk through coverage specifics during contract negotiation.
