Yes. Common for furniture e-commerce. Customer returns come back to our warehouse, we inspect, photograph any damage, document for the manufacturer or retailer, and route either back into inventory, to refurbishment, or to disposition per your policy.
Standard warehouse storage liability applies; for partners with high-value inventory, we recommend either negotiating extended valuation or carrying your own inland marine policy on the goods. SVM is licensed, insured, and bonded, carries workers' comp and general liability, and issues a certificate of insurance on request. We'll walk through coverage specifics during contract negotiation.
